The Lower Bann is an internationally renowned angling river for both coarse
and game fishing.
The Lower Bann is a big (20m+) river which is often better known for its Salmon fishing but which has some excellent Brown Trout water on this stretch. Dry and wet fly fishing are the permitted methods with the former being the more favoured. Fishing can be good throughout the season depending on the fly hatches.
