Routes for Northern Ireland Cycling HolidaysCircular Route 1 "The Sperrin Sprint" At Oughtboy Bridge (just before Cranagh) cross to a minor road and follow the river along its south bank until a T Junction signposted Plumbridge to the right and Gortin to the left. Take a left here then next left following the National Cycle Network signs (95) to a junction where route 95 is signposted Cookstown to the left. A short detour to the right will bring you into the scenic village of Gortin. Follow Route 95 along the valley above the Owenkillew River eastwards passing Glenhull and descending in the wider valley of the Ballinderry River. A Short detour to the left is signposted to the Beaghmore stone circles. The route continues back into Cookstown. Recommended are off-circuit trips to the pretty village of Plumbridge and down to Gortin Glen and the Ulster American Folk Park beyond.
